Our Cats

Welcome

We are a small, cageless cattery, specializing in Persian tabbies, bi-colors and solids. We live in a northwest suburb of Denver, Colorado, in a 4-bedroom house, in which 3 of the bedrooms belong to the cats!

All of the cat and kitten pictures in the Slide Show are past and present kitties we have had/have.

Vaccinations and Health

We recommend using the 3-in-one modified live injectible vaccines by Pfizer. We give the first two vaccines at about 12 weeks old, and 16 weeks old. We also spay and neuter any pets we place with other families prior to their going to their new families.  All of our kitties are litter-box trained from about 5 weeks old on. We use the Precious Cat clumping litter in a non-covered litter box. When the litter gets low in the box, we dispose of the remaining litter, wash the box with antibacterial soap, rinse, dry, and then wipe out with diluted bleach and let dry.  The kitties like using a clean litter box!

We feed our kitties a combination of dry food:  Exclusive (By Purina Mills....we get this at the feed store....), Royal Canin Persian, Royal Canin Intense Hairball, Innova Evo, Hill's Oral Care, and mix in some Purina Kitten Chow (it's like candy to them!...) sometimes. For a treat in the morning, some Fancy Feast Tuna and Whitefish in a can is offered. We feed our kitties in ceramic or glass bowls, and when the food gets low, a clean bowl is put out with fresh food, and the other is run through the dishwasher. Tap water is used in ceramic bowls or water bottles. Most of our kitties use the water bottle!
