We are a small, cageless cattery, specializing in Persian tabbies and solids. We live in a northwest suburb of Denver, Colorado, in a 4-bedroom house, in which 3 of the bedrooms belong to the cats!

about persians |
Persians are usually described as dignified and easy going. They do not usually jump all over the house, are very mellow and quiet most of the time. They do enjoy playing and being loved. And, of course, they like to eat! Their long coat does require a little more maintenance than a short-haired coat would. Combing daily helps prevent tangles and matts. A monthly bath (or shower in the sink) and blow dry helps the skin and coat remain healthy and clean. Wiping the eye area daily with a warm, wet washcloth helps prevent staining from eye drainage. Persians are always inside kitties, and they do get lonely if they are left alone for very long. They enjoy having another kitty or two around, too. There are many good resources for more information about Persians in general. Please see the Links page to connect with PandEcats and CFA. |
